The first Macedonian IPv6 Summit was held on 29-30th of June in the  Boris Trajkovski Conference Hall.

The speakers of the event were:

Jan Zorz - co-founder of Go6 Institute – Slovenian IPv6 initiative

Andrew Yourtchenko – Technical Leader at Cisco

Athanassios Liakopoulos – Coordinator, Networking and Computing Infrastructure at GRNET

Mohacsi Janos – Deputy Director of Projects and Network Development at NIIF Institute

There were around 50 participants from the ISPs, system integrators, universities and other companies from Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania. On the summit 6DEPLOY held lectures on various topics related to IPv6. Jan from Go6 presented his organization, what they have achieved in Slovenia and his project on “IPv6 Mobility in emergency response teams”
